New to this latest generation is the EXIST Air Drive System that consists of a ZAION Air Drive Rotor, Air Drive Bail, Air Drive Spool, and Air Drive Shaft. Constructed from Daiwa's revolutionary high strength low weight ZAION carbon material, the Air Drive Rotor is 15% lighter, features a screwless design, flush surface, and greatly increased rigidity. This new rotor design provides a rotation that is even more effortless than before for more precise stop-and-go reeling functionality for working lures or reacting to bites. Working in conjunction with the new rotor is the Air Drive Shaft, which offers better stability and power transfer to enhance smoothness.
